Greenville Bridge Project

Hwy 82 Bridge – Greenville, MS

Sequel Electrical Supply LLC – Jackson, MS partnered with Synergy Electric and another contractor on these MDOT projects for the Greenville, MS bridge on US 82. The Greenville Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Mississippi River, carrying US 82 and US 278 between Refuge, Mississippi, and Shives, Arkansas.  When the bridge opened in 2010, it was the fourth-longest cable-stayed bridge in the US.

The project consisted of upgrading all aesthetic lighting on the bridge to new, more energy efficient LED fixtures manufactured by Phoenix Lighting.  Synergy Electric replaced all roadway and approach lighting for the bridge with new Autobahn LEDs by American Electric Lighting.

It was a rare and welcomed opportunity to be a part of this LED lighting project.
